Ok, so I’m sitting in this tiny corner of a cafe with my 10 minutes alone time before I head back to pick up my daughter from mum's office so we can go see some Picasso. (No-school curriculum day, yay, sarcastic-cheer.)

When you tell people you're a photographer, your friends will ask you about cameras. I don't know anything about new cameras, but because people talk about them, it keeps me informed.
Same as these Japanese restaurants. Nowadays when people find out I write, photograph, cook Japanese food. They'll ask if I've been to 'X' and if it's any good.
